The Rotary Club of Pattaya contributes to the LIVE LOVE program at Human Help Network (HHN) in Pattaya. HHN provides protection, shelter, education and perspectives to almost 300 ill, orphaned, disabled and misused children in Thailand. The LIVE LOVE program was developed by Rotarian Alexandra Augustijn. The program aims to inspire and support employees and children of HHN to make the right – healthy and happy – choices. What is right? Anything that contributes positively to your body, mind, heart and soul is right. Think of goals that inspire you, education, work and other activities that give you energy, people you have fun with, places where you feel good, a healthy lifestyle, and so on.
Rotarians Alexandra Augustijn and Martina Sprangers started training the social workers and trainees of HHN on 21 February 2022. After they know and embrace the program, they guide the children in the program. We will first start with 14-18 year-olds, because they will soon have to choose a vocational direction. The more they choose a career path that energizes them, the more motivated they become to build a LIFE they LOVE. Other Rotarians such as Pat Tippawan and Patsanan Colov will also contribute to the program.
Some of the reactions of the participants of the workshop: “I have never shared so much personal in a group.”, “I lost myself and gained more self-confidence.”, “Wow … I learned so much about myself.”, “I only now understand what drives me. ”, “I found it very inspiring and also fun.” “With this we can make vulnerable children stronger.”
The LIVE LOVE program is aimed at anyone who wants to build a happier and healthier life. Everyone deserves a LIFE you LOVE.
